We believe that pastors who are growing and well-equipped are better positioned to lead their congregations toward health and gospel fruitfulness. That’s why we’re excited to introduce GDAB Pastoral Development — an ongoing initiative designed to invest in the pastors and church leaders of our association through a rotating schedule of four types of gatherings, each designed with your growth and encouragement in mind.
Workshops
Focused, one-time gatherings designed to equip pastors and church leaders for specific ministry tasks or functions. They’re practical, accessible, and a great way to grow in areas that directly impact your church.
Book Studies
Bring pastors together around a shared reading experience. You’ll read independently, then gather as a group to discuss, reflect, and apply what you’ve learned alongside others who are doing ministry in the same context you are.
Development Calls
Quarterly video conversations open to all GDAB pastors. They’re a low-barrier, high-value opportunity to discuss pastoral questions, exchange ministry ideas, and offer one another encouragement — no matter where you are or how busy your schedule might be.
Tracks
Ongoing, theme-based gatherings for pastors who want to go deeper in a particular area of ministry. Current tracks include Applied Theology, Biblical Counseling, and Pastoral Leadership — each offering a consistent space to grow and connect with others who share your interests.
